Public facing website in SharePoint 2010
A recent project has been to build a public facing website in SharePoint 2010.
Our client is using SharePoint as an intranet / knowledge sharing system within the organisation, and they didn't want their content editors to have to learn another content management system - hence the decision to use SharePoint for the public facing site.
We've created a set of customised master pages to give the site the correct look.
The server has been set up so that staff can edit the content and visitors can visit the site without needing to log in.
